There are times when a plan comes together to the satisfaction of all the parties involved. Having spent the majority of my working life in the IT industry, I am only too familiar with the problems that can occur project managing the delivery of a successful outcome. Art commissions for clients are often problematical in ensuring the artist’s understanding of what the customer wants.
One of Equestrian Art International’s strengths is project managing the commission to budget and timescale. This is what the customer at the end of the day is paying for.
Towards the end of 2024, an existing customer approached us to commission a portrait by one of our artists, Rob Hefferan, based on a photographic reference of a particularly special day at Royal Ascot. The painting was to be framed and delivered as a special and surprise present from one to the other in time for Xmas. An image of the painting is shown. No prizes for guessing the names of the celebrities involved!
