Cheltenham Festival Exhibition 2022

The first major exhibition of 2022 was held at this year’s Cheltenham Festival meeting from 15th-18th March.  The festival is the highlight of the UK’s jump racing season, where the best British and European National Hunt horses and jockeys compete for the richest and most prestigious prizes.  This year’s event was held in front of record spectators and proved exciting as always.

Equestrian Art International’ Exhibition occupied a stand in the luxury shopping village which was fifty per cent larger than usual. The extra space allowed us to open up the viewing area and enable race goers a much better viewing platform to see the new works and and artists on display.

The result was another record breaking exhibition in terms of sales up more than twenty per cent on the highest recorded sales to date.  Twenty nine paintings were sold across a range of artists from impressionist works to pop art, from abstract expressionism to photo realism.

The stand also attracted a certain amount of media interest and made a great backdrop for TV and press interviewing as can be seen from the attached photo!
