Landing Ground is a mixed media painting on ply board using acrylics, watercolours, charcoal, pastels and oils featuring a classic National Hunt horse racing scene by Alasdair Banks.

At 77 inches x 56 inches, it mirrors the expressionist power of its sister painting – Battle Zone, and was painted by the artist over a period of six months.
