Painted in 2021, The Girl Who Dreamed She Won the National is an  original acrylic painting in Pop Art style by Dee Taylor.  The inspiration behind the painting is the film National Velvet starring a young Elizabeth Taylor and real life achievement of Rachael Blackmore becoming the first woman to win the Grand National on Minella Times in this year’s Randox Health event at Aintree.
