Cheltenham Festival 2020 Survives Corona Virus Shutdown

The 2020 Cheltenham Festival survived the Corona Virus shut-down by a whisker.  It was always going to be a tight run thing whether the Corona virus would force the cancellation of the world’s showcase National Hunt Festival on the eve of or as it transpired during the event or whether the meeting would go ahead following last November’s curtailed meeting caused by flooding.  Fortunately common sense prevailed and the Festival went ahead albeit in a more subdued and sombre mood than previous years.  The Corona Virus affected hospitality numbers as well as sales, which were for the first year since 2003 lower than the previous year.  Fortunately post Festival sales and commissions helped to make up the difference

We now move into a period when racing and polo take place behind closed doors and all our Spring exhibitions and possibly Summer too are cancelled.

Please note that our website can be used to purchase paintings on-line and offers a multi currency facility for worldwide sales.  Equestrian Art International operates across the globe, although the Corona virus is no respecter of international boundaries, we intend to resume normal exhibition activities as soon as we are allowed.
