Dunthwaite House is a National Trust property set in a beautiful part of the Lake District in the village of Setmurthy, near Cockermouth, Cumbria CA13 9SL.

It is the home of Annabel Lewis and her family.  Annabel is the founder of V V Rouleaux, the pre-eminent supplier of hip haberdashery in the UK and an avid collector of equestrian art.

Annabel regularly supports local charities and artists through active promotion of art exhibitions and events in Cumbria.  This year in conjuction with Equestrian Art International she is hosting a 'Silks & Satin' Exhibition of equestrian fine art in her property at Dunthwaite House from Saturday 13th August to Sunday14th August, where the latest works of the finest equestrian artists Great Britain has to offer will be on show.

Silks & Satin - An Exhibition of Equestrian Fine Art

This exhibition is Equestrian Art International's first exhibition in the Lake District, one of the UK's finest areas of outstanding natural beauty.

The exhibition is being held in mid August by kind permission of the National Trust in Dunthwaite Barn near Lake Bassenthwaite in the heart of the lake district.  The exhibition is open from 12.00 Noon to 6.00pm on Saturday 13th August and from 11.00am to 3.00pm on Sunday 14th August.
